I'm thinking you need some serious perspective, when you camped out at the queue for the new iPad 2, and missed your son's birthday in the process. What's worse is, asking your son if that's okay and he gives his consent.
Umm ... seriously? Missing your son's birthday for a new gadget?
Actually, I sometimes wonder why I'm still surprised.

I think anyone who "chases" technology is like a dog chasing his own tail. So pointless especially since there'll be something new to run after in the next three months :P Sad for that boy though, he doesn't deserve that - scared that he'll grow up and think it's ok for him to treat his kids the same *sigh*
